Gov. Jay Inslee today announced the appointment of Jennifer Langbehn to the Snohomish County Superior Court. She is replacing Judge Michael Downes who is retiring on May 31.

Langbehn is currently serving as Snohomish court commissioner pro tempore and is an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Moriarty & Associates, PLLC in Mill Creek practicing in family law and dependency matters. "Jennifer has extensive experience in family law and working with juvenile offenders and individuals struggling with issues of addiction, mental health, and homelessness," Inslee said. "She has a strong reputation in the Snohomish County community as a hard worker and I look forward to the contributions she will bring to the bench."
