Member Requirements: Thirteen members licensed to practice medicine in the state; two members licensed as physician assistants; and four members of the general public. Each congressional district in the state must have at least one physician member. If a physician, they must be licensed to practice in the state for at least five years. Public members may not be a member of any other health care licensing board or have fiduciary obligation to a facility rendering health services regulated by the commission, or have financial interest in the rendering of such services.
